POLICIES, PROCEDURES, & GUIDELINES:
- Prior to participating, participants should review the SCGA’s Policies & Procedures.
- The SCGA's mask policy follows in accordance with the CDC and the California Department of Public Health. This is subject to change due to any local guidelines or site protocols. Click here to learn more.
FORMAT:
- 54-hole stroke play championship
- 84 players will play 36-holes on Monday, April 18.
- Cut to the low 42 scores and ties for the final 18-holes on Tuesday, April 19.
- Ties, for first place only, will be determined with a three-hole aggregate playoff.
- Awards will be given to those who finish in 1st through 5th place.
REGISTRATION:
All participants are required to check-in with the SCGA upon arriving Monday morning. A table will be located near the scoreboard.
PRACTICE ROUNDS:
- Players may plan for practice rounds at their own expense. All participants will have access to one practice round – Fee $100, including a golf cart.
- To book a practice round, call the Annandale Golf Shop at (626) 796-612.
- Limited times are available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons each week.
- Push carts will only be permitted during the championship, not during practice rounds.
- Annandale caddies are available during your practice round for an additional fee – contact Pro Shop for details.
- Practice rounds are a privilege, not a right. The SCGA works with a variety of facilities throughout the course of the year, all of which have unique policies and procedures when it comes to practice rounds. These opportunities will be provided at the sole discretion of the host facility.
- We are guests and must follow all facility policies and guidelines when on property. Behavior during practice rounds will be subject to the SCGA Code of Conduct.
STARTING TIMES AND PAIRINGS:
- Starting times and pairings will be e-mailed to players and posted on scga.org/midam one week in advance of the championship.
- Starting times for Round 1 will range from 7:00 a.m. to 9:10 a.m. off Holes #1 & #10.
- Starting times for Round 2 will range from 12:30 p.m. to 2:40 p.m. off Holes #1 & #10.
- Starting times for Round 3 will range from 7:30 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. off Holes #1 & 10.
- Lead groups should plan to be at their assigned tee 10 minutes in advance of their starting time. Subsequent groups are encouraged to arrive once the preceding group has teed off. Players arriving late will be penalized under Rule 5.3a of the Rules of Golf. For example, the 9:00 a.m. starting time is defined as 9:00:00, and players arriving after that time are considered late.
TEES & YARDAGE:
- All yardages and course information can be found in the “Yardage Information” tab located on the Championship Portal.
DRIVING RANGE:
- The driving range will be available 1 hour prior to the first tee time on each morning of the championship.
- Range balls will be provided compliments of Annandale GC and the SCGA.
FOOD SERVICE & PURCHASES:
- The Snack bar will be open from 6:00 a.m. each day.
- All participants will receive lunch after their round on Monday, April 18.
- Cash will be the only option accepted for payment. No credit cards.
RULES OF PLAY:
- The Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA and The R&A govern play.

GOLF CARTS, PULL/PUSH CARTS:
- Golf carts are optional at the player’s expense ($40 per player on Monday, $22 per player on Tuesday).
- There will be a maximum of two carts per group and two bags per cart. Players wishing to ride will be expected to share a cart with another player.
- Each player is entitled to one seat in a cart. If a player brings a caddie, the caddie may ride provided there is a vacant seat in one of the carts. Otherwise, either the player or the caddie must walk.
- Drivers must be at least 16 years of age (or older if club policy dictates).
- Pull or push carts are permitted during the championship, not during practice rounds.
CADDIES & SPECTATORS:
- Players may provide their own caddie (see the section on golf carts).
- Annandale caddies are available for use, please get in touch with the Pro Shop to arrange.
- Spectators are permitted but are not allowed in carts. Spectators must adhere to all policies set forth by the facility.
DRESS CODE:
Appropriate golf attire must be worn, including adhering to any facility-specific policies.
CANCELATIONS & REFUNDS:
- To withdraw for any reason prior to the start of an SCGA competition, a player must notify the SCGA Championships & Golf Operations Department at champs@scga.org.
- Failure to notify the SCGA will subject the player to suspension from future SCGA competitions.
- Refund Policy:
- Cancelation prior to the entry closing date: Full refund less a $20 administrative fee.
- Cancelation after the entry closing date and more than 48 hours prior to the start of the competition: 50% of the entry fee.
- Cancelation within 48 hours of the start of the competition: No refund.
